Hazel V. Bresnahan

Hazel  V. (Ormsby)  Bresnahan 91 of Holyoke passed away peacefully on July 28, 2017. Born in Milton Ma.  August 28, 1925 she  was the daughter of the late John and Maud (Lamplough) Ormsby. She lived most of her life in Holyoke and was the wife of the late Cornelius P. Bresnahan who passed in 1990. She was a Teacher for many years at Holyoke High School and retired in  1973. Hazel was also predeceased by her son Kevin Bresnahan in 2003 and her siblings. She is survived by her daughter Joan P. Blakeslee ( Robert ) of Springfield, 5 grandchildren, Ryan, Meredith, Peter, Kenneth and Susan, 6 great grandchildren Evan, Jadon, Madeline, Logan, Mia, and Rachael and nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on  August 5th at the First Baptist Church, 50 Parker St. East Longmeadow at  11 a.m. A private burial will be held in St. Jerome Cemetery Holyoke.
