John T. Ennis

John T. Ennis 88 of West Springfield died Feb.20, 2017 at Wingate of West Springfield. Born in Springfield Sept.11, 1928 he was the son of the late Michael and Margaret Ennis. John was predeceased by his wife Patricia (Chirgwin). He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and was recently working for the Springfield Housing Authority. John is survived by his sons William J. of Agawam and Sean M. of West Springfield and a daughter Shelia Hartman of Clearwater Fl., a sister Betty Ennis, 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. John was also predeceased by a daughter Karen Dillion , a brother Joseph Ennis and a sister Margaret Windsor. Relatives and friends are invited to meet on Fri. Feb. 24th at the Ma. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam for the Committal  Service and Military Honors at  11  a.m. Visiting hours will  be Thurs. Feb. 23rd  from 6-8 p.m.at the Dillon Funeral Home Inc., 124 Chestnut St Holyoke Ma. In Lieu of Flowers donation may be made to Dana Farber ,450 Brookline Ave.Boston ,Ma. 0
