Joseph D. Donnelly

Joseph D. Donnelly 76 of Chicopee passed away peacefully on October 9, 2016 at Holyoke Medical Center. He was born in Mt. Pleasant Pa. on May 26, 1940 and was the son of the late James and Elizabeth ( Jacobs) Donnelly. Joe was a Marine Corps veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Mass. Mutual Insurance Co. in Springfield for several years as a LAN Administrator before his retirement.  Joe was an avid Pool player in Western Ma. for many  years and played in several  U.S. National Amateur Tournament’s. Joe is survived by his loving wife Jacqueline ( Hamel ) Donnelly, his children Mark (Cynthia) Donnelly of Windsor Ct., Donald (Helen) LePage of  E. Longmeadow, Kenneth LePage and Brian (Kim) LePage all of Chicopee and Kim (Donnelly) Pucci of Oxnard Ca. a brother Terrance of  Latrobe Pa. and a sister Susan Lennon of Stowe Oh, 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Visiting hours will be Thurs. Oct 13th at the Dillon & Edward F. Day Funeral Home, 124 Chestnut St. Holyoke from 4 – 7 p.m.  Memorial Services will be held on Fri. Oct 14th at the Ma. Veteran’s  Memorial  Cemetery Chapel in Agawam at 10 a.m. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis Tn. 38105
