Marie R. Gorecki

Marie R. (Lapointe) Gorecki, 72 of Holyoke died Feb. 20,2017 at the Holyoke Medical Center.Born in Holyoke Nov. 10, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Lillian (Lafontaine) Lapointe. She worked at the former Holyoke Geriatrics before retiring. Marie is survived by her loving  husband Andrew, her children Emily Gorecki of Northampton, Julia Kayzakian (Tom Wegman) of Holyoke, Andrew Jr. of Holyoke and Ann Gorecki of Chicopee, her grandchildren Drew, Austin,  Imma, Elisa, Anik, and Eric, her nieces Donna and Florence along with several other nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Sat. Feb. 25th from the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass in St. Anthony’s Parish, Chicopee at 10 a.m. followed by burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery So. Hadley. Visiting will be Fri. Feb. 24th from 4-8 p.m. at the Dillon Funeral Home 124 Chestnut St. Holyoke, Ma.
