Oliver F. Williams

Oliver Franklin Williams, 83 of Holyoke and formerly of Co. and Az.died at the Holyoke Soldiers home. Born in Perth Amboy N.J.  He was an Army Ranger with the 75th Inf. serving from 1952-1955 and 1968 - 1971 in Korea and Vietnam receiving an Army commendation w/ Silver Oak Leaf Cluster and a Purple Heart and various other awards and commendations. After the service he was a correctional officer in the Az. and Co. prison systems. He is survived by his daughter Michelle Williams her wife Abby and a granddaughter Charley. Military Honors will rendered  on Thursday June 15th at the Ma. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam Ma. at 2 p.m. followed by his burial.
