Alexina Schwalm Obituary

Alexina E. (Guilbault) Schwalm 87 of So. Hadley passed away Saturday April 28, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born in Holyoke February 20,1931 and was the daughter of the late Phillip and Eva (Gouash) Guilbualt. Before retiring she worked as a Special Needs Aide at Hampshire Educational Collaborative for several yrs. She loved doing Crafts and taught courses at the So. Hadlley Senior Center and was a communicant of St. Theresa’s church in So. Hadley. Alexina was predeceased by her loving husband Edward in 1972 and also by her siblings Arthur, Ernest and Jean. She is survived by her children Howard of Chicopee, Douglas of Washington D.C., Edward of So. Hadley and Lisette Perron of So. Hadley and her sister Rita Mazzolini of N. Mexico, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life for Alexina will be held on May 4th from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Granby Legion 74 Pleasant St Granby Ma.
