Carol A. Ahearn

Carol A. (Martin) Ahearn 76, of Chicopee,passed away Feb.27, 2017  surrounded by her family. Born in Holyoke March 19, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Louis and Sophie (Shewchuk) Martin. She worked for several years at Sentry Cleaners in Chicopee and was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Holyoke. Carol was predeceased by her husband James, a son Timothy and a daughter Sharon. She is survived by her son Shawn (Kathy) Ahearn of Westfield, 2 daughters Sheri Ahearn and Shelia Ahearn both of Chicopee, a sister Barbara Sitzman (George) of Georgetown S.C. and a brother Kenneth (Sandra) Martin of Chicopee, 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, So. Hadley on Fri. March 3rd at 10 a.m. no calling hrs.
