Alfred F. Franchina

Alfred F. Franchina passed away on Monday September 19, 2022 at the age of sixty -one. Al "Ace" Franchina was born May 16, 1961 in Boston, Massachusetts. He attended Watertown High School, and recently settled in South Hadley. Al leaves a fiancé, Cheryl Gibson, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren who he loved very much, their treasured cat, Watchman, his 2 Aunt"s. three nieces and two nephews and his childhood friend from Watertown, Norman Eldredge. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother. Al loved gardening, spending time with his family, and his Boston sports teams with a passion. He enjoyed discovering new restaurants to surprise Cheryl. He was a kind soul and ridiculous jokester with a witty sense of humor. Everyone has their favorite Al stories, and his sudden death was met with an outpouring of love from all who knew him. A service is planned for May 2023.
