Angel Manuel Santiago, affection, 2024, affectionately known as Junito and Gordo, passed away on July 16, 2024, at the age of 58. Borm on March 23, 1966, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he spent his formative years in beloved hometown before eventually settling in Springfield, MA. Angel had a zest for life and cherished spending time with his family. His favorite pastimes included playing pool and going to the movies with his daughters. Known for his infectious sense of humor, Angel could always be counted on to bring laughter into any room. His jovial spirit and quick wit endeared him to all who knew him. He held dear his cherished role as a husband to his beloved wife Marisol Santiago, and his greatest joy in life was being a father to his children Cassandra, Samantha, and Angelina. His granddaughter held a special place in his heart, and he treasured every moment spent with them. Angels favorite place in the world was his hometown, where he cherished the memories of his childhood and the vibrant culture that shaped him. He carried the warmth and vibrancy of Puerto Rico with him wherever he went. In reflecting on his life, one of Angel’s favorite quotes was “Trump 2024” hinting at his strong political beliefs. This motto, along with his ever-present sense of humor, served as guiding principles throughout his life. Angel Manuel Santiago will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His legacy of love, laughter, and warmth will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortune enough to known him. Services are this evening from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family
