Barbara J (Murphy) Vargas

Barbara J. ( Murphy ) Vargas, 83, of Chicopee died on Friday Dec. 20th, 2024. Born in Holyoke on July 19, 1941 she was the daughter of John and Marion ( Ross ) Murphy. Barbara worked for many years at the Westover Job Corps as a Purchaser. She is survived by her sons Jason and Jaime Vargas of Chicopee, and Marty Rogers ( Tracy ) of Pittsfield, her grandchildren Lucas, Caleb, Brianna, Juniper, Cristian, Braeden, Jaime , and Domick Coelho, her brothers Joe, George and Edward. Visiting hours will be on Friday Dec. 27th at the funeral home from 4-6 pm. Burial will be in Forestdale cemetery at the convenience of the family.
