Emily M. Gorecki

Emily M. Gorecki, a devoted Jehovah’s Witness, died on Thursday, September 16,2021. She was 57. Emily was the eldest of four children of the late Andrew and Marie (Lapointe) Gorecki, she was born in Holyoke, MA on March 6, 1964. She leaves behind her sisters Julia and husband Tom Wegman of Holyoke, Ann Gorecki and her Fiancé, Matt of Chicopee, and brother Andrew Gorecki of Feeding Hills. She also leaves behind her nieces, Imma, Elisa and Anik and nephews, Drew, Austin and Eric. She also leaves behind several cousins, and her precious cat, Rigby. She was educated in the Holyoke schools and graduated from Holyoke Catholic High School in 1982. She worked as a tax preparer at H&R Block in New England and the former Friendly Ice Cream in Chicopee.“Although suffering through a myriad of health issues, Emily’s faith and service to Jehovah never wavered,” her family said in a tribute. “All who knew her knew about her love for and faith in Jehovah God.”The family would like to thank the wonderful community of Jehovah Witnesses that embraced her as family. Visiting hours are Wed Sept 22 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Funeral services and burial are private.
