Gary Krause

Gary Krause, 76 of Holyoke passed away with his wife by his side on Thursday June 15,2023 at their home. Born in Holyoke March 25,1947 he was the son of Stuart and Lillian (Dodge) Krause. He was an Army Veteran of Vietnam and was a Truck Driver by trade. He “loved the Island” was an avid Fisherman, loved Boating, Camping, the outdoors and Animals. Gary would help his uncle Bob and brothers and put on the best Fourth of July out at the island for their families. At Christmas he would have a beautiful village under his tree for everyone to enjoy. He also played Santa for his daughter’s Day Care children. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Joyce, a daughter Shelly Pedraza (Jorge), his stepchildren Richard Orozco and Gillian Czarnik (Joe), grandchildren Anthony, Kassandra, David, Bella, Zackary and Malachai and one great grandson Anthony. Nephew’s Craig, Claude, Karl, Kirk, Nick, Michael, Kurtis, Josh, Alan and Niece’s Laurie, Kerry and Cheryl and was predeceased by his siblings Stuart and Karl Krause and Judy Frost. A Service with Military Honors Rendered and followed by Burial will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, On June 27th,2023 @ 9:00 a.m. 1390 Main St., Agawam, Ma.
