Irma (Rivera) Alicea

Irma ( Rivera ) Alicea 76 of Holyoke passed away on Nov. 11, 2024 at a local nursing home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Comerio P.R. Jan. 25, 1948 and was the daughter of Victor and Herminia ( Santana ) Rivera. She was the wife of the late Jesus M. Alicea and is survived by her children, Irma Alicea (Ivan) of Holyoke, John Alicea (Juanita) of Feeding Hills, Luis Torres and Lizette Torres both of Springfield.Her grandchildren: Johan, Jonathan, Jenna, Anastacia, Ariana, Emily, Victor and Aiden. Also three great grandchildren.She was Pre-Deceased by her brothers Victor Rivera Jr, and Rafael Rivera and sisters Norma Rivera and Migdalia Ramirez. Her siblings: Aida Jafari of New Britain CT, Juan Rivera (Mirta) of Springfield, Orlando Rivera (Jane) of East Longmeadow, Enrique Rivera (Wallis)of Temple Texas, Nereida Roman (David) and Evelyn Ouimette both of Springfield and several nieces & nephews. Irma enjoyed several group activities at Mont Marie where she resided the last seven years, she loved Bingo along with art & crafts. She also had a love for her indoor plants. The most important thing to Irma was the love she had for her Family. Services are Thus. evening at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Funeral will be on Friday morning from 10 - 11:30 followed by burial in Forestdale West Cemetery 200 Rock Valley Rd Holyoke
