Jose Luis Cruz, 43, of Holyoke, MA died at Holyoke Hospital on 10/13/23. He was born in Ponce, PR to Nitzabel and Jose Cruz. He enjoyed playing basketball with a milk crate as a child. Jose attended William J. Dean Tech before joining the United States Marine Corps and heading off to Parris Island, South Carolina. Jose was preceded in death by Carmen M. Ortiz and Antonio Alicea, grandparents, and is survived by Sheila M Cruz, estranged wife; Memphis and Niles Cruz, sons; Nitzabel Cruz, mother; Jose [Edith] Cruz, father; Jessica Cruz, sister; Chefran [Odalys] Cruz, brother; Edith [Alejandro] Cruz, sister, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held at Dillon's Funeral at 124 Chestnut Street, Holyoke, MA, on Saturday, 10/21/23 from 7 to 8pm.
