Leo Edmond Thiffault died in his home on July 1, 2018 in Springfield, MA. at the age of 73. He was born December 16,1944, in Drummondville, Canada to the late Richard and Rose Thiffault. At an early age, Leo had developed a love and talent for the sport of hockey that led to a professional hockey career that spanned from 1961-1974. After retiring from the sport, he worked tirelessly as a drywall contractor for decades. He enjoyed golfing, dancing, casino gambling and was an avid player of the game of pool. He is survived by his son Leo Thiffault Jr.; his daughters Diana Mei and Stephanie Rivera ( Alex ); his brothers Richard Thiffault ( Hugette ), and Norman Thiffault ; 4 grandchildren Travis, Justin, Kassandra and Olivia; 4 nieces Nicole, Lisa, Jaqueline and Kathleen; and countless friends. Dad, we love you and miss you. We will never forget the kindest, gentlest and hardest working man we ever knew. Leo's services were at the convenience of the family.
