Marc Levine passed away on September 4, 2021 with his loving family at his bedside. He was born in New York City to Henry and Kate (Koufax) Levine on August 9, 1945. He was a wonderful family-oriented individual who resided at the Heritage Hall South Nursing Home for the past few years due to chronic health issues. Marc had a lifelong passion for fishing and loved and was inquisitive about all things in nature. He enjoyed collecting antique knives about which he was an acknowledged expert. Marc was a formidable player of 500 rummy. He had a successful career in sales. Marc was predeceased by his parents and wife, Caroline Sheehan Levine. He leaves his brother Stephen Levine (Joan), his sister Elizabeth Levine Levy (Mark), nieces Jessica Backman-Levy (Paul), Sarah Levine Meyer (David), Rachel Levy (Sixto Franco) and Emily Levine (Jake Javitch). Marc was the great uncle of Spencer Meyer, Chase Meyer, Odessa Franco-Levy, Poppy Javitch, Remy Javitch, and Eliana Backman-Levy. Our family owes a debt of gratitude to the staff at Heritage Hall South who cared for Marc with competence and love. Thanks to Janet, his nurse practitioner as well as to Donna, Jason, Jesse, Kelli, Carmen, Karlene, Miriam, Candy, Sarah, Monica and Balene and others as well.
