Maurice E. Bresnahan

Maurice E. Bresnahan formerly of Holyoke passed away on Sunday Sept. 4, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Holyoke Dec. 2, 1932 he was the son of the late Cornelius and Agnes (Brennan) Bresnahan. He attended local schools and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked for many years as a shipping clerk for the Atlas Copco Co. of Holyoke. Moe was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He especially loved Tom Brady and became a Buccaneers fan too. He loved spending time with his famil telling stories of his Irish heritage and his Holyoke days. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Maurice was predeceased by his loving wife Rita (Mackiewicz), his daughter Patricia Dion and son in law Barry Dion and granddaughter Gabriella Bozoglos. He is survived by his daughters Cheryl Fern (Michael) of So. Hadley, Donna Bozoglos (Fred) of Belchertown and Diane Chapdelaine of Holyoke, his grandchildren Michael Fern and his wife Jackie, Nicholas and Sarah Chapdelaine, Zachary and Benjamin Dion , and Alexander and Tyler Bozoglos, a great grandson Liam Dion, and a great granddaughter Julia Flebotte, several nieces, nephews and friends. Maurice’s services are at the convenience of the family.
