Ralph Perry, aged 73, passed away on July 3, 2024, in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Born on May 6, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, to Charlie and Ethel Lee Westbrook Perry whom she affectionately called him her "Boyee" . Ralph devoted over 25 years of his life working as a Maintenance Supervisor at Holyoke Soldiers Home, where he was well-respected and admired by his colleagues for his dedication and hard work. Ralph was known for his quick wit and ever-present humor, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood. His laughter and jovial nature will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his three daughters, Madison Charlene Mitchell, Nichole Monique Mitchell of Fall River, and Jeanna Byrd of Holyoke, MA; five grandchildren, three grandsons, and two granddaughters; and his sister, Carolyn Washington of Detroit, Michigan. Ralph was preceded in death by his sister Charlene Bell. Several Nieces and Nephews and a host of Cousins. Ralph's early education was in the Detroit Public school system which laid the foundation for his long and fruitful career. He was a member of the Obie Knox Lodge # 1568 in Holyoke, Ma. But his main priority was his Family. Ralph's life and legacy will be honored and remembered by his loved ones wholeheartedly by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Ralph"s Services are Monday July 15th with visiting from 10 -11:30 a.m. followed by an In - House Service beginning at 11:30 a.m. followed by procession to Forestdale West Cemetery, 200 Rock Valley rd. West Holyoke for Committal Service and Burial.
