Robert Tougas Obituary

Robert D. Tougas, age 60 of Holyoke died on April 21, 2021. He was born in Holyoke, MA on September 24, 1960 the son of Homer J. and Camilla (Barut) Tougas. Robert was an Army veteran stationed in Germany with the 24th infantry attached to the 3rd armored division attaining the rank of Sargent. Among his awards were the expert infantry badge, national defense ribbon, and good conduct medal. After the army he was employed by the United States Postal Service in Amherst and later retired. Robert is survived by his brothers Paul A and his wife Joanne., Philip S. and Homer J. II. As well as several nieces and nephews. Robert enjoyed his classic car and motorcycle collection with his family and friends. Visiting is private with burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, the family has asked that Donations be made to the D.A.V. (Disabled American Veterans) thru their website: http://donate.dav.org/donate.
