Sally M. Petit

Sally M. Petit, of Chicopee passed away June 3, 2021 in Holyoke Medical Center. Born in Holyoke January 10, 1937 she was the oldest daughter of Arthur & Sadie “Sally” (Dent) Petit. She Graduated Magna cum laude and Class President from St. Jerome High School in 1956. Sally worked for 30 years at the former New England Telephone Co. as an Auditor and retired in 1986. She was a former member of the George Burns Chorale & Russ Falvey singers, the Dan Kane Singer’s and a member of the Telephone Pioneers, also a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Choir in Granby and a former Communicant. Sally is survived by her son Mark Andrews of Agawam, her granddaughter Mckayla M. Mendes, her sisters Mary Lou Kresge of So. Hadley, Christine Lindsay (Donald) of Granby, Rosalie McLean (David Sr.) of Belchertown and a brother Richard Petit (Patricia) of Westfield, Several nieces, nephews and many cousins. Sally was predeceased by her sisters Helena Dudley, JoAnn Lafreniere and brothers Arthur Petit Jr. and Charles Petit. Funeral Services will be held on Thurs. June 10th from the Funeral Home, Inc. 124 Chestnut St Holyoke beginning at 11 a.m with an inhouse Prayer Service at 1 p.m. followed by Burial and Committal in St Jerome Cemetery Holyoke.
