Santos Rodriguez

Santos Rodriguez of Holyoke, Ma. passed away on January 21st, 2025.He was born in Barranquita, P.R. to Ricardo Rivera and Aurora Rodriguez on April 14, 1938.
He joined the United States Army at the age of 17 and served 4yrs from 1950 -1954. He was a well-known bus driver for Holyoke Street Railway and the PVTA of Western Mass, where he worked for 34yrs, and retired at 62. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards, traveling and most of all he cherished the time spent with family and friends. He married the love of his life his wife Carmen Maldonado in 1960.He is survived by his (3) children, Yolanda, Janet, and Richard. He was predeceased by a son Nelson. (3) Grandchildren, Joshua, Alyssa, Nathan. (6) Great-Grandchildren, Dakota, Xavier, Noella, Jackson, Anthony and Mia. Visiting hrs. will be held at the funeral home,124 Chestnut St Holyoke from 6-8 p.m. on Fri Jan 24th. Funeral Services will begin on Sat Jan. 25th at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Jerome Church at 10 a.m. with committal services and burial to follow in St. Jerome Cemetery, Holyoke
