Therese M. Cloutier, 85, of Chicopee, Ma. died peacefully in her sleep on September 14th, 2024. She was born on August 21, 1939 in Sully, Quebec, Canada to Alfred and Ida (Lebel ) Dube. As a child she loved dancing and helping her mother with the house chores. Therese was a dedicated and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Therese had a passion for taking care of others whether it was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren or working as a PCA taking care of the elderly in their homes. Therese would often bring her grandchildren to work with her teaching them the value of caring for others. Therese had a love for children and holding a baby in her arms would always bring a smile to her face. Therese is survived by her children Martin Cloutier and wife Kathy, Danny Cloutier and partner Jen, Mario Cloutier and partner Stacey, Marcelle Carr and husband Steve, Ronald Cloutier Jr. and partner Beth, and Jimmy Cloutier and wife Stacey; her grandchildren John, Eric, Amy, Carrie, Kelli, Paul, Joseph, Michael, Alexandria, Jacquelynn, Christiana, Gabriel, Annabel, and Margaret; her great-grandchildren Hayden, Camden, Jack, Emily, Niko, Anthony, Kathryn, and Noah; her sisters Gaetane and husband Raymond, Cecile, and Irene; her brother Gilbert; her sisters-in-law Cecile and Hugette; and her many nieces and nephews. Therese was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Ida Dube; her brothers Eugene, Edmond, Armand, Alphonse, Raoul, Gaetan and Jean Yves; her sister Yvette; her life partner and best friend Henry Prajzner; and her daughter Michelle whom she is now reunited with in heaven. Calling hrs. are Wed. Sept 18th from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 8:45 a.m. on Thurs. morning Sept 19th at the funeral home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St Rose DeLima Church , Grattan St. Chicopee followed by a Committal Service and Burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, So.
