Wayne M. Lapan

Wayne M. Lapan,65 of Chicopee passed away at Baystate Medical Center on Sept. 28, 2024. Born in Springfield Oct. 13, 1958 he was the son of Maurice and Ruth ( Tourgee ) Lapan. He was a Counselor for a local Community Health Program. Wayne loved his job at the opportunity house helping people. Everyone at the opportunity house was like his family. He had his two favorites who he loved like brothers John and Mike that he met at the opportunity house. When Wayne wasn’t working ,he enjoyed spending time with the people he loved. He is survived by his brother Roy Lapan and his wife Doreen Lapan, Jane Lapan her husband Danny Brown, Joyce Lapan and her husband Shawn Hennessey. His five nieces Jamie Patruno, Brandie Hennessey, Samantha Gutwaks, Lindsey Lapan, and Melissa. His three nephews Jason Healy, Josh Healy, and Daniel Demears. His three great nieces. His step son Luis Mackin, His step daughter Taralynn and grandson Dante. Funeral Services are at the Convenience of the family.
