Sophie C. Majka

Sophie C. ( Rogacewicz ) Majka passed away peacefully on Friday Aug. 5, 2016. Born in Worcester Jan. 30, 1922. She was the daughter of the late John and Lena Rogacewicz. She was a Clerk for the Wall Street Journal for over 22 yrs., a communicate of the former Mater Dolorosa Church, a member of Group 141 Polish Womens Alliance and the Senior Citizens center. Sophie was predeceased by her husband Felix and is survived by her cousins Susan Mellen, Stanley Sylwanovicz / Florence, Rose Collette / Philip all of Spencer Ma. and other cousins. The funeral and visiting will be Tue. Aug. 9th from the Dillon & Day Funeral Home 124 Chestnut St Holyoke beginning at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass in Our Lady of the Cross Church at 11 a.m. with burial in Mater Dolorosa cemetery.
