William F. Thompson

William F. Thompson died March 8, 2016 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Born Sept 23,1927 in Holyoke  he was the son of the late Henry and Constance (Cole) Thompson. He was a graduate of Holyoke High school in 1946 and was an Army veteran of the Korean War and worked for the Springfield Photo Mount in Holyoke for many years.William is survived by his wife Frances (Viau), his sister Audrey and  brother in law Homer Bissell, his step children Marie and her husband Bill Hayden, Paul Paradis and his wife Denise, Ann Curry and John Paradis and his wife Janice, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to the Dillon & Edward F Day Funeral Home 124 Chestnut St. Holyoke on Fri. March 11th with visiting from 10:30 to 12:30 with a funeral home service beginning at 12:30 followed by burial in Forestdale Cemetery Holyoke.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Paul’s Episcopal church, 485 Appleton St. Holyoke, Ma. 01040 CORRECTION: AT THE FAMILIES REQUEST THE SERVICES AT THE FUNERAL HOME WILL BEGIN AT 12 NOON NOT 12:30 P.M.
