Clark P. “Clarkie” Calkins 72 of Springfield passed away surrounded by his family on July 10, 2017. Born in So. Hadley February 7, 1945 he was the son of the late Earl and Mona (Archambault ) Calkins. Clark was the owner of the former Bakery in Easthampton called the Baker’s Dozen, He was a diehard Yankee’s fan and a longtime APA pool player and a life member of the Holyoke Lodge of Elks # 902. Clark was predeceased by his children Curtis Calkins and Janet Larance and his sister Linda Ribero. He is survived by his loving wife Daphne (Volikas), his children Christopher Calkins of Ga., Nicholas Calkins of W. Springfield, Robert Russell of Springfield, Christine Russell of Las Cruces N.M. and Ellen Wegman of Wales Ma., a brother John Calkins of Parkville Md., several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday July 14th from 6-8 p.m. at the Dillon Funeral Home, Inc. 124 Chestnut St, Holyoke Ma. 01040. The funeral and burial will be private.
